Background of Program

Bachelor of Pharmacy is a 4 – year undergraduate degree programme that prepares students for a pharmacy profession. This new programme just received its provisional accreditation last December 2021 and looking forward for its first intake in September 2022.

This programme is equip with dynamic and innovative curricula to train our future pharmacists adequate abilities and professional skills that satisfies the local and international needs. Our graduates shall demonstrate integrity whilst uploading ethical values and possess wide range scientific skills in solving pharmaceutical care related issues and advancing in research interest.

Program Educational Objectives (PEO)

PEO     Description
PEO 1
Graduates who are knowledgeable and equipped with professional skills in providing pharmaceutical care to stakeholders and society.
PEO 2
Pharmacists who are committed with respect to social responsibilities and capable to communicate effectively as a leader or member of healthcare professionals to foster better compliance and collaboration with patients, society and stakeholders.
PEO 3
Pharmacists who demonstrate integrity whilst upholding ethical values and possess wide range of scientific skills in delivering pharmaceutical care and solving related issues.
PEO 4
Graduates who are motivated towards lifelong learning and managerial and entrepreneurial skills in the fields of pharmacy.

Program Learning Objective (PLO)

PLO     Description
PLO 1
Describe advanced and comprehensive theoretical and technical knowledge in providing pharmaceutical care efficiently.
PLO 2
Demonstrate intellectual independence in application of knowledge within pharmacy field by applying critical analytical and evaluation skill.
PLO 3
Apply, review, make adjustment and supervise related practices and processes concerning field of pharmacy.
PLO 4
Convey ideas both in written and oral forms effectively in appropriate context and act as team member of healthcare professionals in a well-structured manner to a diversity of audiences.
PLO 5
Use and combine numerical and graphical/visual data for pharmacy related work.
PLO 6
Work autonomously and show leadership and professionalism in managing responsibilities within broad organization.
PLO 7
Foster personal development and demonstrate entrepreneurial skills in various pharmaceutical sectors.
PLO 8
Possess ethical values and act professionally in accordance to Malaysian Pharmacy Law.
