Dean’s Message

Welcome to Faculty of Health Sciences!
I would like to welcome you to the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS). We have been
established since 2019 which in line with Vice Chancellor’s transformation plan. As of
today, the faculty has expanded with 65 academic staff and more than 4,000 graduates.

The faculty offers 11 academic programs including 9 undergraduates’ and 2
postgraduates’ program. All programs are accredited by Malaysian Qualification Agency
(MQA). All of our programs are continuously updated in line with the criteria set in the
Standard Program. This is done through the inputs and feedbacks from various
stakeholders, especially the Academic Advisory Panel members and the external
examiners of different academic programs. This continuous quality improvement process
facilitates the faculty to strengthen and sustain the quality of graduates to be more
competent and professionals.

The faculty strives to be a centre of excellence in health sciences that is locally relevant
and globally competitive. Apart from focusing on the high academic excellence, the
students are exposed to various activities and community service programmes to develop
their talents and soft skills. FHS also engaged in research in the areas of health sciences
field. We are actively pursuing network with national and international collaborators to
enhance the quality of learning and it is the key goal of the faculty’s future development.

As Dean of the faculty, I warmly welcome all potential students, alumni and visitors to be
part of the Faculty of Health Sciences families. I believe all students in FHS enjoyed their
learning experience with our dedicated academic team. I wish you all the best in your
