Background of Program

The diploma in early childhood education program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of early childhood education. It equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote the holistic development of young children.

The program consists of a total of 7 semesters. Students will study a range of courses, including child development, curriculum design, classroom management, special education, and parent involvement. In the final semester, students will undertake a practicum to gain hands-on experience in a real early childhood education setting

Admission Requirements

A pass in SPM with at least Credit in any 3 subjects or any equivalent qualification;

OR

A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject or any equivalent qualification;

OR

A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul;

OR

A pass in Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 in a related field and a pass in SPM with a minimum of 1 Credit in any subject;

OR

Certificate in Early Childhood Education or any equivalent qualification;

OR

Any qualifications equivalent to Certificate (Level 3, MQF)

OR

International Students

For international students, the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a score of 500 or International English Language Test System (IELTS) with a score of 5.0 or above equivalent is required.
