Background of Program

In the coming ten years, the field of logistics and supply chain management will see big changes in the area of urbanization, sustainability, consumer & technology, globalization, economic power shifts, and the vulnerability of information chains. A winning logistics and supply chain model require passion for the implementation of logistics innovations. However, products only move in the supply chain because of decisions by people. A customer driven supply chain is only possible with a passion for people, to ensure that innovative solutions can be accepted by employees. Only then you can achieve better results such as to organize efficient logistics, to invent logistics and supply chain model and to implement customer driven chain supply for better result.

Produce graduates with the knowledge, hands-on skills and positive attitude in the field of logistics management;

Equip graduates with the latest technology and development in the logistics industry;

Prepare students with the critical analysis and communication skills that enable students to effectively present views, either in writing or through oral presentations, and to analyses and critique the views of ther purposes of decision making in the logistics management; and

Demonstrate relevant knowledge & critically appraise transport and logistics problems and responding to change and the consideration of the future of transport and logistics development and the external environment in which they operate;
PLO 2
Analyse, interpret and extrapolate different types of information in transport and logistics systems as well as capable of using business models of transport and logistics, and associated numeracy skills;
PLO 3
Demonstrate social skills and responsibility while exercising corporate social responsibility;
PLO 4
Display values, professionalism, moral and ethical business conduct in corporate social responsibility.
PLO 5
Exhibit communication skills in a variety of domains, including writing, speaking, listening and reading, while respecting the impact of technology on effective communication. Opportunities For Further Studies

Holders of this Diploma can proceed directly into the Bachelor of International Supply Chain Management program at the Faculty of Management, UCMI. Graduates can also further their studies at any local or foreign universities.

Admission Requirements

A pass in SPM with at least Credit in any 3 subjects or any equivalent qualification;

OR

A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM), with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject or any equivalent qualification;

OR

A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul; OR A pass in SKM Level 3 in a related field, and a pass in SPM with a minimum of 1 Credit in any subject;

OR

Any qualifications equivalent to Certificate (Level 3, MQF).
