Background of Program

Foundations in Business prepare students with a good foundation to pursue higher studies in a field of their choice. The program has been designed to ensure students enhance their basics knowledge and skills before entering the Bachelor’s Level. The program also focuses on building students’ soft skills such as confidence and communication skills to ensure that they are able to succeed in a career of their choice. Foundation in Business is a 1-year program comprises of 3 semesters.

Program Educational Objectives (PEO)

PEO     Description
PEO 1
To produce competent practitioners who have strong fundamental knowledge and experience before further their studies in related courses.
PEO 2
To generate a competent practitioner who is able to develop proficiency in English and practice communication skills effectively and ethically in various contexts of society.
PEO 3
To produce highly motivated students which are good in problem solving and decision making by integrating the knowledge and technical practices.
PEO 4
To produce students who are geared towards technology and research by utilizing ICT to explore business opportunities through lifelong learning in the related industry.
