Background of Program

Environmental Health is a very challenging and dynamic field which comprises aspects of human health and disease that are determined by factors in the environment.

 

  • It also refers to the theory and practice of assessing and controlling factors in the environment that can potentially affect health. 
  • Diploma in Environmental Health provides students with theories and skills in environmental health management, workplace health, safety, noise control, health promotion, environmental protection, disease control and problem-solving skills.

Admission Requirements

  1. Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent with PASS in Bahasa Melayu and Bahasa Inggeris AND with at least 5 CREDITS in the following subjects:
  • Mathematics; AND
  • One (1) Science subject (Biology/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Basic Science/Applied Science); AND
  • Any three (3) other subjects (including credit in Bahasa Melayu AND/OR Bahasa Inggeris)

OR

  1. GCE/ O Level or equivalent with PASS in Bahasa Melayu OR Bahasa Inggeris AND five (5) Grade C in the following subjects: 
  • Mathematics
  • One (1) Science subject (Biology/ Physics/ Chemistry/ General Science/ Applied Science; AND
  • Any three (3) other subjects (including credit in Bahasa Melayu AND/OR Bahasa Inggeris)

OR

iii. Certificate related to Health Sciences with minimum CGPA 2.75.
